5XZC-5 The corn-processing machine primarily relies on a vertical air separator and a vibrating screen to perform sorting. Based on the aerodynamic properties of the material, it exploits the difference in terminal velocities between corn seeds and impurities; by adjusting the airflow velocity, it achieves separation. Lighter impurities are drawn into a settling chamber for centralized discharge, while higher‑quality corn seeds pass through the air separator and then enter the vibrating screen. The vibrating screen consists of upper and lower layers and is equipped with three types of openings. Its sorting principle is determined by the geometric dimensions of the seeds; depending on the variety and cultivar, users can select and replace screening plates with different aperture sizes to meet specific sorting requirements.
